In an ongoing commitment to conservation, the
artist, Phyllis Frazier, donates 10% of the proceeds from all print
sales to select organizations working to protect the species portrayed
through her art.
As a reflection of this commitment,
10% of the proceeds from the sales of the prints
Sandwashed
Shores Winter Least Tern
and
Piping
Plover
will be donated to:
The
Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey
www.conservewildlifenj.org
Chosen for their work with endangered
wildlife, the funds will be used by the Foundation to benefit the New
Jersey Endangered and Nongame Species Program's efforts to protect beachnesting
piping plovers, least terns and black skimmers.
Impressed by the dedication of
the Program's field biologists, Frazier selected the Foundation to help
support their work in conserving critical habit for these three endangered
shorebirds.
"In
a time when we lose countless species daily to extinction,
many not even named or studied by science, I could not imagine
choosing wildlife as the inspiration for my work without giving
something back for its preservation."
